NEIS of Liverpool New York announces that it has recently been awarded the Corning Inc. DVDX MINO Laboratory expansion project located at Sullivan Park Research and Development campus near Corning, NY.
The project is a continuation of a 2007 announced $300MM facility expansion by Corning Inc. The facilities that support Corning’s continued commitment to R&D in the Upstate NY area are being outfitted with standardized and flexible casework solutions to enhance productivity.
Northeast Interior Systems will be performing their scope of work as a sub-contractor to the project’s construction manager, Gilbane Inc. of Albany NY. The laboratory design work is being done by Pittsburgh-based architect, Burt Hill.
The project will include multiple phases beginning in early winter 2011 and concluding in the spring of 2013.
